The following series of tweets was sent out on January 4, 2014 (2:15 pm), as part of outreach for Tipping Point Action: Citizen Participation in Times of Unprecedented Challenges.
One comment and one question:
Comment: There are 14 different series of tweets being used for Tipping Point Action outreach. This particular series focused on sharing information about the potential of Community Visioning Initiatives for collborative problem solving (and some comparisons to illustrate that we can afford 1000 Community Visioning Initiatives at this critical time) to people working in fields relating to China and Asia; people and organizations in the Muslim, Indigenous, and Interfaith communities; and two in a category I call Global Warming, Global Issues.
Question: The other 13 series of tweets also include many tweets--to share information from the document "Invitation Package for Possible Board of Advisors (at cpcsc.info)" (a key source of evidence relating to challenges and solutions). Any suggestions for tweet series which might be more helpful or useful to readers?

The Community Peacebuilding and Cultural Sustainability (CPCS) Initiative is issuing a Planetary Distress Signal.
We are at a critical point in the evolution of life on Planet Earth. We are now at a time when we need to examine our options very carefully.
“World is on the brink of ‘largest bubble ever’ in finance, because of undisclosed value of high-carbon assets on companies' balance sheets”
Bond markets shielded from effects of climatechange, ecosystem degradation, water scarcity?/$40 trillion of sovereign debt in global markets
No associationofsocieties ever on planet Earth had to resolve the kind of challenges the next few generations of people will have to resolve
“A List of Ten Critical Challenges” (1 page)/condensation of evidence from many documents cpcsc.info/planetary-distress-signal-campaign/
People not sufficiently informed about critical issues are everywhere--and investing their time, energy, and money—voting—all the time
Tipping Point Action—more emphasis on how people “vote” with their time, energy, and money, and less emphasis on electoral process “voting”
Community Visioning Initiatives = maximizing citizen participation in examining critical issues, exploring solutions options very carefully.
Community Visioning=Preliminary Surveys/Neighborhood Learning-Support Centers/Brainstorming on Challenges,Solutions/Action Plans/Job Fairs
“The Potential of Community Visioning Initiatives (in 500 words)” cpcsc.info/1000cvi-campaign/
“Invitation Package”/How 1000 Community Visioning Initiatives might be funded/$10m per initiative,1000CVIs=total $10 billion
Can we afford 1000 Community Visioning Initiatives? $10 billion is only .005% of $207 trillion in personal wealth held by richest 10 percent
Can we afford 1000 Community Visioning Initiatives? $10 billion only .57% of $1.75 trillion military expenditures (2012)
Can we afford 1000 Community Visioning Initiatives? $10 billion is 1.8% of (est.) $557 billion in worldwide advertising spending in 2012
Can we afford 1000 Community Visioning Initiatives? $10 billion is 2.4% of the $419 billion of worldwide gambling in 2011.
$10 billion is 6% of the $162 billion people in the United States spent on beer, wine, and liquor in 2011.
If 18% of cable TV subscribers in U.S. unsubscribed from cable TV, they could finance 1000 Community Visioning Initiatives.
The challenges of our times are not something the experts will resolve while the rest of us are doing
something else.
All of us have important responsibilities associated with resolving a significant number of very serious challenges ahead.
